CASH DONATIONS
Good Neighbor Center relies on the help of caring individuals and companies throughout the region. Donations of food, money and time are how we exist. Currently, Good Neighbor Center depends on donations for almost one-fifth of our yearly budget. The rest of the budget comes from county and state funds, FEMA, and cities which generously include us in their budget.
Additionally, all of our meals at Good Neighbor Center are donated. Many coming from grocery stores, organizations and dedicated individuals. Even the smallest donations are critical to the operation of the center.

FOOD DONATIONS
The Good Neighbor Center operates without a food budget for the year. While this saves us thousands of dollars in operation costs, it does make food donations critical. Many stores and organizations, including the Oregon Food Bank, donate food. But donations from individuals are equally as important. If you'd like to bring a food donation, see our Current Needs list. And thank you for your time and support.
CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP
The generosity of local companies has always been key in helping the Good Neighbor Center. Whether it's donations of time, money, goods or services, the participation of area businesses helps make reaching our goals here just a little bit easier. To find how you or your company can help,
WAYS TO VOLUNTEER
OVERNIGHT HOSTS
Volunteers are important to our success, especially at night. Our overnight hosts offer reassurance to our families, serving the Good Neighbor Center on-site in case of emergencies. Being an overnight host requires a stay at the shelter from 10 pm until 6 am. To see the schedule or to sign up, click the button below.
MEAL HOSTS
Your donations of meals are critical to the operation of the center. As a meal host, you'll create a menu, pick up ingredients and prepare dinner for our families any night of the week you're available. It's an evening both our families and our hosts look forward to.
